IPM docks started out as heavy wooden structures, but we quickly realized their disadvantages and changed our design to lightweight aluminum, welded construction, and fitted with Thruflow decking.  

IPM brand, manufactured by Fab Masters Company, Inc*, an aluminum fabrication company gives you  the advantage of custom design and factory direct pricing.

The custom extruded IPM side rail utilized in our docks & boardwalks, makes a unique connection system, not only for the docks themselves but also for accessories. Due to this connection system, IPM docks and boardwalks adapt to floating systems, stationary systems or a combination of both with a uniform look. Additionally, allowing you any desired assembly configuration, single run docks, multiple extensions or patios.

Floating docks (4 foot width minimum) utilize side rail stiffeners that eliminate bowing between sections, adding stability, and can be fitted with a wide range of float drums sizes. Floating docks allow earlier installation and later removal with no wet or cold feet; each section can be floated in or out. Anchoring with 1 ½” pipe and augers allows the dock to easily float up and down on rivers or lakes that have changing water levels.

Stationary dock systems and boardwalks are equipped with aluminum stands made of 2” square tubing, and a flat top-assembly that bolts to the bottom of the dock sections for a clean look.   The leg assembly telescopes allowing for easy adjustment, and a welded-on 8” x 10” mud plate is available for softer bottoms.

Docks fitted with Thruflow decking are resistant to storm damage from wind & surge effects.

The IPM boardwalk design is certified to meet or exceed 100-psf live load, and can be made handicap accessible and ADA compliant.
