Q. Does Fabmasters Extrude Aluminum?
A. No, Fabmasters does not extrude ourselves, although we work with many extruders to pick the best fit per customer specifications. We specialize in the fabrication of aluminum extrusion and can find an extruder for our customers wishing to have their parts machined at Fabmasters. Our capabilities include Cutting, drilling, milling, Tig and Mig Welding (we have Certified AWS aluminum Welders)
Q. Does Fabmasters offer tooling and fixturing?
A. Yes, we offer special made tooling for any job and tools to improve program times and to ensure your parts are made to print. We also have an in-house tool room where we make sure the quality of your parts will be consistent.
Q. Can Fabmasters supply my parts with Hardware?
A. Yes, Fabmasters works with many vendors that supply nuts, bolts, AVK nuts, clinch nuts, inserts, Heli-coils, Etc.
Q. Can Fabmasters supply my parts with finish?
A. Yes, we have several vendors that offer a variety of finishes. Powder Coat, Anodize, buffing/ polishing, Grinding, Etc.
Q. What Type of deburring capabilities does Fabmasters have?
A. Fabmasters has many types of grinders and hand deburring tools. We also have some vibe deburr tanks (large or small Quantities depending on the size of the part), and abtex end deburring machines.
Q. Can Fabmasters Package my parts to my standards?
A. Yes, Fabmasters works with many parts that need special packaging. Fabmasters can supply packaging to meet your needs.
Q. How do I know I will get a quality part?
A. At Fabmasters, we have specific procedures put into place to ensure the quality of each and every part we make. We do this by setting up the machine, checking 100% of the part, and verifying the part dimensions through our quality department. We also do extensive operator checks throughout the job to ensure the tooling and the machine are operating properly.
