Fab Masters Company, Inc. is currently expanding with a 10,500 square foot addition. It will be utilized for storage of incoming material and improved inventory control. The new building is designed for drive-through loading and unloading of flatbed semis. As a result, space will be cleared up in the shop for added machining centers and process improvement.
Fab Masters’ increasing customer base in multiple markets, including a new contract supporting our military, made this new addition a necessity. Perhaps most noteworthy, Fab Masters will fabricate parts for the next aircraft carrier, John F. Kennedy.
A Note from Fab Masters Founder & CEO Ron Troxell
This latest expansion will be used for storage of incoming material and improved inventory control. The building is designed for drive-through loading and unloading of flatbed semis. It will open up additional floor space for the addition of more machining centers and improved process flow. The need for this expansion came about because of an increasing customer base in many different markets. We are also including additional capabilities and developing processes many of our competitors do not have. Our machining length capability now extends to 27 feet currently. We have been adding metal working CNC routers to our machining line-up which operate at much higher RPM and feed rates than traditional machining centers.
We have won a new contract supporting our military. We will be making parts for the next aircraft carrier, John F. Kennedy, which you can read more about by Googling “CVN 79.” An engineering firm was looking for a company to manufacture parts of a new design. Fab Masters was the eighth company the engineering firm chose to sample prototype of these parts. Our precision and attention to detail provided the customer the least amount of labor to make their assembly. According to the customer’s installation staff, the part samples provided by Fab Masters had the best fit as designed, had the closest tolerance, and required no rework when installed and tested in the lab. The employees at Fab Masters are very proud to provide parts and support our military branches and help protect our servicemen and women.
Contrary to what Obama said about business and small businesses, WE DID BUILD THAT! I believe we now have a President that knows and believes in business and what really will make AMERICA GREAT AGAIN… the men and women that work in American Small Business.
